Team Meeting at Sharrock's |
The 2015 NCO Work and Witness team met at Tim and Connie Sharrock's house this past Saturday. This is a great group of people and we could already feel the team chemistry. So we are excited to be traveling and working together in just a couple more months. The next time we all meet it will be Sunday March 15 when we join for morning worship at Mount Vernon First Church before heading to the airport to begin our journey to Israel.
Our project will be to do some repair and remodeling work at Jerusalem Church of the Nazarene.

Connie shared information and pictures of areas of the facility needing repair. It appears there is a need for plastering, concrete repair and painting inside and outside the facility. There are also plans for us to build a secure nursery area in the building.
We looked at pictures of the facilities where we will live for these two weeks. We will have excellent living quarters and we will be close to work and close to the Damascus Gate of the Old City. So it will be a convenient location for site seeing after work. With the daily temperatures ranging between 50 at night to 70 during the day, the weather should be about perfect work weather for our time in Jerusalem.
Please pray with us that God will guide and direct the final preparations for this trip and that God will go before us and prepare the way for us to be a working witness to the church in Jerusalem. We pray that God will direct and protect us during these two weeks in Israel.
